A 2005 Grambling State University graduate in Business Management and Marketing, Prince ​Hutchinson is a talent acquisition specialist for State Farm and is based in Richardson, Texas.


In his role at State Farm Hutchinson manages STEM engagement and assists with the ​insurance corporation’s summer internship program.


Hutchinson is also known as a strong advocate for Historically Black Colleges and Universities, ​volunteers as a softball coach, and is on the Board of Directors for his community’s ​Homeowners Association.


He also launched a career-assistant grant, named in honor of his grandmother, that assists high ​school seniors from his hometown of Bastrop, Louisiana, who plan to attend an HBCU. In 2020, ​both recipients of funding from that grant attended GSU.


Hutchinson is a member of the Collie J. Nicholson chapter of the Grambling University National ​Alumni Association; an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; vice president of a ​premier consortium of Black Employee Reference Groups for companies operating within the ​Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex; and referee for the North Texas Basketball Officials Association.


With Hutchinson playing a key role in the process, The Collie J. Nicholson Chapter of Grambling ​University National Alumni Association offers an Educational Scholarship Award annually to ​distinguished students whose parents’ or legal guardians’ primary residence is in the North ​Dallas Metroplex.
